KELLERMANN, Antoinette. (19*-) Bilingual Afrikaans and English actress and lecturer. Studied drama at the University of **. Worked for CAPAB, SWAPAC and PACT, as well as a variety of other companies. Since the demise of CAPAB, has worked closely with Marthinus Basson and the Vleis, Rys en Aartappels company. Became a teacher for Pretoria Technikon's Cape branch in 200*, and in 2002 joined the staff of the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department as speech and acting teacher. Since ** Roles include Die Van Aardes van Grootoor by Pieter-Dirk Uys (1977/78), "Lucienne" in Hond se Gedagte (Fleur du Cap Theatre Award, Best Supporting Actress, 1988), "Adriana" in Kinkels innie Kabel (Fleur du Cap Theatre Award, Best Actress, 1989), "Helena Alving" in Ibsen's Spoke (Fleur du Cap Theatre Award, Best Actress, 1990), "Madame de Montrieul" in Madame de Sade (Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards|Fleur du Cap Theatre Award]], Best Actress, 1997), "Anna" in Pieter Fourie's Ek, Anna van Wyk (Fleur du Cap Theatre Award, Best Actress, 1999), Oscar in Afrika (Aardklop festival, 1999)** in Reza de Wet's Breathing In (**) She starred in the Pieter-Dirk Uys comedy Die Van Aardes van Grootoor together with Uys, Johan Botha, Lida Botha, Magda Beukes, Nomsa Nene and Rina Nienaber. It was directed by Dawie Malan for the opening production of the Laager in September 1978. She starred in Bartho Smit’s Die Keiser circa 1992. She won the Computicket Award for her performance in Die Tragedie van Cymbeline in 1993.
