Born 1952 in Bellville.

Training

Studied at the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department.

Career

Worked for CAPAB, SWAPAC and PACT, as well as a variety of other companies. Since the demise of CAPAB, has worked closely with Marthinus Basson and the Vleis, Rys en Aartappels company. Became a teacher for Pretoria Technikon's Cape branch in 200*, and in 2002 joined the staff of the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department as speech and acting teacher.
