Qualified with a BA (Hons) drama degree from the University of Pretoria in 1983.
Career
Joined PACT in 1986 and was a permanent member of their drama company for four years, before becoming a free-lance actor and writer.

A filmed version of Skilpoppe was produced and directed for M-Net by André in 2003/2004.
