He was married to Trudie Taljaard.
Training
Career
Worked for PACOFS in the late 1960s and in 1975 he worked with the PACT English company
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Performed in Tug-O-War, Seppukyu, Elizabeth I, Kat in die Donker, Die Paddas (KRUIK), Subject to Fits and Roulette. He starred in Schlengemann’s Die Drie Van Der Walts together with Wilna Snyman and Don Lamprecht with direction by François Swart for PACT in 1979. ** He starred in Who Goes Bare? at the Andre Huguenet in 1989.
He had roles in Gilgamesh 1972, Die Blindes (PACOFS 1973), Die Nag van Legio (1972), Becket, Hamlet (1973), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.
Directed Die Jakkalsstreke van Scapino for PACOFS, 1973.
Awards
He won the Anton de Waal Award for Best Afrikaans Performance for 1974/1975.
