First performed at the Princess's Theatre, London, in 1854 and in the Boston Theatre, 1856.

Published as Issue 376 of Lacy's acting edition by T.H. Lacy, 1854 and Issue 66 of Spencer's Boston theatre by William V. Spencer (based on the performance text arranged for the Boston production by J.B. Wright), published 1856?.

1858: Performed again as The Victor Vanquished in the New Music Hall in Buitekant Street, Cape Town, by J.E.H. English and company on 6 July, with The Boots at the Swan (Selby) featuring Miss Delmaine and Mrs Delmaine.
