The original text
It is claimed to be a comedy fashioned from an old manuscript ("blijspel in één bedrijf naar een oud handschrift bewerkt") and the text is contained in part 4 of Tooneelstukken geschikt voor vereenigingen, inrichtingen van onderwijs en huiselijken kring, published by Bom in Amsterdam in 1871.
