Biography

Training

He studied at Rhodes University Drama Department until 1971.

Career

He has worked for CAPAB (since 1972), the Space Theatre, the Baxter Theatre, Pieter Toerien and the Playhouse Company.

His acting credits as student include The Silent Woman (1969), Richard Gush of Salem, The Playboy of the Western World (1971) and as professional actor The Mandrake (1973), Piekniek te Velde, 'Tis a Pity She's a Whore, She Stoops to Conquer, A Man for all Seasons, Richard III, A Flea in her Ear, Hamlet, Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Julius Caesar, KwaManzi, The Circus Adventure, The Dream (NAPAC 1992).

He wrote Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs : based on the story by Jesse Braham White.

Awards

He was nominated for a Vita Award (Natal, 1992) for his role as lead in The Dream.
