Rolanda Marais (1978-). South African actress.

Biography

Born on January 19, 1978, she studied drama at the University of Cape Town Drama Department, graduating with a Performer's Diploma in Speech and Drama.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Stage roles include Two Gentlemen of Verona (Marthinus Basson, Nico Malan Theatre 2003), Die Seemeeu (2015), Die Twaalfuurwals, Romeo en Julia (Studie van 'n Verdrinkende Liggaam), Aars!, Moerkind, Dogma, Elke Duim 'n Koning, Waterfront and Koning LearMarthinus Basson.

She has appeared on television in series such as Binnelanders (as "Stephanie"), Fynskrif , Die Testament and is in Fynskrif.

Films: Wolwedans in die Skemer (2012), Poppie Nongena (2019), Trackers (2019), Griekwastad (with Arnold Vosloo and Jozua Malherbe (her husband) as director.
