Milan Murray (1974-). Bilingual actress (Afrikaans and English) on stage and screen.

Biography

She grew up in the Cape Province and eventually settled in Johannesburg with her husband and children. Milan studied Drama at the Pretoria Technicon, and also studied at certain studios in New York City, United States.

She is known for roles in soap operas such as Isidingo and Binnelanders, but she has also played in feature films.

On stage she has appeared in Sitting Ducks at Another One Night Stand Festival, Downstairs Theatre, Johannesburg, 2001, Wemeltong (2001) – conceptual theatre, reaction to ten paintings by Breyten Breytenbach in which his words are portrayed visually, the solo piece 'n Pers hoed vir Mrs Brown (KKNK 2003), Plofstof (KKNK 2004), Saintly Simplicity (2004), Kom terug, Saartjie (2005), Taraboemdery (2009), Vergenoeg (KKNK 2010), Teerling (Aardklop 2012), Weerkaats (KKNK 2017).
