Lois Butlin (19**-). Actress.
Graduated from Rhodes University with a B.A. in English and Drama.
She joined CAPAB in 1972 and turned to freelancing after 1977 .

Performed in Dear Daddy (as “Gillian” for Pieter Toerien and Shirley Firth 1978), Tartuffe (as “Elmire” with CAPAB), Mrs Elvsted in Hedda Gabler, 1972, Miss Julie (CAPAB 1973), The Mandrake (CAPAB 1973) and in Rebecca (as “Mrs De Winter” with NAPAC, 1978/9). She played in The Story of an African Farm (1975), Rookery Nook for CAPAB (1975),Pygmalion (CAPAB 1975), Blithe Spirit (1976), Arms and the Man (CAPAB 1977), Much Ado about Nothing Maynardville 1977.
Other productions include Orison (1972), The Good and Faithful Servant (1972), Annie Get Your Gun (1973), The Circus Adventure (1973), London Assurance (1974), The Game of Kings (1974), Present Laughter (1974), Antony and Cleopatra (1975), Richard III (1976), Hamlet (1977), The Misanthrope (1977), The School for Wives, Love’s the Best Doctor (1977).
Won a Three Leaf Arts Award for Best Leading Actress in 1976.
