Eet Alles (“Eat everything”) is an Afrikaans play by Malan Steyn.

The original text

A play a group of friends who come together after the death of Johannes Kerkorrel, lead singer of the Gereformeerde Blues Band, in 2002. They reminisce about the 1989 Voëlvry concert tour[[1]] and the South African youth of the time. The play was the runner up for the 2004 AngloGold Ashanti/Aardklop Smeltkoersprys.

The text was published by Protea Boekhuis in 2011. ISBN 9781869194475.

Adaptations and translations

Comprehensively revised by Steyn as Johnny is nie dood nie and published by Protea Boekhuis in 2011.

A film version of the play, also known as Johnny is nie dood nie, was made by Christiaan Olwagen in 2016, who rewrote the play as a film script himself.
