Protea Boekhuis ("Protea book house") is a South African publishing house, with a high-quality list.
Founder and managing director Dr. Nicol Stassen and Publishing Manager Izak de Vries.
They publish widely, their list including non-fiction, fiction, children’s books, youth novels, poetry, plays.
Their drama list includes Samsa Masjien by Willem Anker; Land van Skedels by Nicola Hanekom; Post mortem by Pieter Fourie, Die Dag is Bros by Wessel Pretorius.
