Aantrekkingskrag ("power of attraction/gravity") is the title of a stage play, a radio drama and a TV film by Deon Opperman
Contents
The original text
In Afrikaans the term aantrekkingskrag has a double meaning, being used to refer both to people ("the power of attraction") and to the gravitational pull of the earth. Opperman's play uses the term metaphorically to refer to the cosmic law in its exploration of life, science, literature, belief and - ultimately - love.
Originally written as a stage play and first performed at Aardklop in 2011.
The text was published by Protea Boekhuis in 2013.
