The original text
A highly comical, almost burlesque, satire
Written for performance during the Union Festival of 1960, it was published under the full title of Koning-Eenoog, of, Nie vir Geleerdes. 'n Spel van Anachronismes en 'n Anachronisme ("King One-eye, or Not for the Learned. A game of anchronisms and an anachronism") by Tafelberg Uitgewers in 1963. It was apparently also published under the more familiar title of Nie vir Geleerdes by Nasionale Boekhandel Bpk. in 1963.
