She died in Stellenbosch on 15 January 2017 at the age of 75.
Training
She studied at the University of Pretoria Drama Department in the 1960s.
Career
One of the founder members of TRUK. Joined SUKOVS Toneel in 1990.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Performed in The Cherry Orchard (as “Charlotta”), Die Fisici (as “Dokto M. Von Zahnd”), Black Comedy (as “Furnival”). Played Sonja in Oom Wanja. Acted in Die Teken in 1986 at the Observatory Theatre. As freelance actor she appeared in Hups in die Hydro. Played Charlie in Die Nag van Legio and the mother in Klaaglied vir 'n Kunstenaar. She appeared in Die Groot Wit Roos under the direction of Gerben Kamper and in Romeo and Juliet and she played Mrs Frencham in Flikflooie in 1991, Wat is 'n Huis Sonder Worsie se Moeder in 2001.

Awards, etc
In 1963 she was selected as the best actress at the ASB drama festival for students.
She won a Vita Award (National) in 1996 as South African playwright of the year for her play Die Pakkamer.
