Studied Drama at the University of Cape Town, graduating in 1976. *In the early years following his studies very involved with Theatre in Education and the SA Association for Theatre and Youth Theatre. * Faces in the Wall (Pieter-Dirk Uys, 1980), He starred in Israel Horowitz’s The Indian Wants the Bronx together with Michael Richard and Bill Curry and directed by Bobby Heaney at the Laager in 1980. He starred in Tom Lehrer’s Tomfoolery together with Andre Hattingh, Tim Plewman and Michael McGovern at the Intimate Theatre in 1981. He starred in Lanford Wilson’s Fifth of July with Dorothy-Ann Gould and Eckard Rabe at the André Huguenet Theatre in 1982. He starred in Who Goes Bare? together with Tim Plewman under direction by Rex Garner at the André Huguenet Theatre in 1982. He starred in In Praise of Rattigan together with Rex Garner, Fiona Ramsay and Neville Thomas with direction by Rex Garner in 1984. He starred in Simon Gray’s The Common Pursuit directed by Ken Leach at the Alhambra Theatre in 1987. He starred in Bobby Heaney’s production of Largo Desolato in 1988.
