BA Drama (Hons) (Wits); she attended the Herbert Berghoff Studio [1] for a year.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Barbara had a role in Bessie Head's play Maru in 1994.
She directed productions of Kindertransport (March 1997), How I Learned to Drive (1998), Stand in the Sun (1999), The Love of the Nightingale (2000), The Great Outdoors (2000-2001), and Valley Song at the Baxter Theatre, 2003. With Gilda Blacher she devised and directed a comic two-hander Shopping and Schtupping and she was part of the team who workshopped the farce Too Many Cookes...?.
