He adapted and improved the West End set for a production of A Streetcar Named Desire in Johannesburg, 1951.
He designed for productions such as The Little Hut, Affairs of State, Big Bad Mouse, Burning Bright, The Andersonville Trial, Present Laughter, A View from the Bridge, The White Sheep of the Family, The Cherry Orchard, Oklahoma!, A Streetcar Named Desire, George Washington Slept Here, Rookery Nook, The Coral King, Policy for Murder, The Physicists (1963), White Horse Inn, The Deadly Game.
He managed Dick Whittington for ACT in 1952.
