The Deadly Game is a play by American author James Yaffe (1927-) [1].

The play is based on Die Panne, a radio drama and short story by Friedrich Dürrenmatt.

1965: Staged in the Alexander Theatre, Johannesburg in March, directed by Hugh Goldie, featuring George Vollaire (Emile Carpeau), Charles Stodel (Bernard Laroque), Billy Matthews (Joseph Pillet), Kevin Basel (Pierre), Michael McGovern (Alfred Trapp and Bruce Anderson (Gustave Kummer). Decor by Roy Cooke.
