Performance history in South Africa
1943: Helshoogte was performed on tour by the André Huguenet's company in 1943, with Ena du Toit, Hermien Dommisse, André Huguenet, Paula Styger, Pierre de Wet, Freda Keyter, Fanie Bekker and Rudolf Nel.
1992: Wuthering Heights performed by CAPAB, directed by Roy Sargeant at the Port Elizabeth Opera House 6 to 9 May 1992, H.B. Thom Theatre 13 to 15 May 1992 and the Nico Theatre from 20 May 1992. Costumes by Birrie le Roux, decor Peter Cazalet, lighting John T. Baker, starring Guy de Lancey, Shirley Johnston as Catherine, Blaise Koch, Diane Wilson, Mark Hoeben, Gordon van Rooyen, Michelle Scott, Alain Benatar, Russell Copley and Fiona Coyne.
