Rina Nienaber (born circa 1953). Stage, radio, television and film actress.
Contents
Training
She studied drama at the University of the Free State.
She trained under Rina Botha at the University of Stellenbosch.
Career
She concentrated on television and film work since 1983.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Student productions include Die Kaukasiese Krytsirkel (UTS 1973), Die Wintersprokie (UTS 1974).
As professional actress she has appeared in Die Van Aardes van Grootoor (1978) , The Lesson (at the Market Theatre), Die Tragedie van Romeo en Juliet (PACOFS 1981), Met Permissie Gesê (1981), Charley se Tante (PACT 1983), Agter Geslote Deure (1998), Hartsoet (2003).
She also performed in productions of the Libertas Teaterklub under the direction of Marie van Heerden.
She had a part in the radio drama Die Beskermengel which was broadcast in 2009.
Film work includes the 1978 film in Afrikaans Die Spaanse Vlieg and on television she had roles in Konings and Torings.

She was awarded a Radio Artes for her role as Anna Braun in the radio drama Anastasia in 1990.
