Productions

1966: Staged by PACT in a double bill with Uys Krige's Die Grootkanonne. For this production the Krige Afrikaans translation of Le Médecin Malgré Lui was entitled Dr. Teen-wil-en-dank and it was directed by Francois Swart, featuring Louw Verwey (Sganarelle), Marga van Rooy (Martine), Francois Swart (Monsieur Robert), James Norval (Geronte), Sandra Kotze (Lucinda), Franz Marx (Valere), Roelf Laubscher (Lukas), Thea Kirstein (Jacqueline) and Marius Weyers (Leandre). Decor by Bill Smuts and costumes by Chris van den Berg.

1970: Presented by CAPAB in a double bill with Die Blindes directed by Jannie Gildenhuys starring himself, Pieter Joubert, Nerina Ferreira, Mees Xteen, Ernst Eloff, Pieter Fourie, Margot Luyt, Fitz Morley, Roelf Laubscher, Willem de la Querra, Lianda Martin and Grethe Fox. Stage manager Mavis Lilenstein, decor and lighting designed by Pieter de Swardt, costumes designed by Elaine Aucamp.
