Dis Koue Kos, Skat ("It is cold food, darling") can refer to an Afrikaans novel by Marita van der Vyver (), as well as the stage version and a film adaptation.

Dis Koue Kos, Skat: the novel (2010)

Published by Tafelberg Uitgewers in 2010, it tells of Clara Brand, who has discovered that her husband is cheating on her with her friend and colleague, so she plots her revenge, all the while juggling new friendships, new romances and the rediscovery of her passion for food.

Dis Koue Kos, Skat: the film (2016)

The novel was adapted for the screen by Marita van der Vyver and Etienne Fourie and produced by for the Karoo Film Company and kykNET. Directed by Etienne Fourie with Anna-Mart van der Merwe, Deon Lotz, Elzabé Zietsman, Frank Opperman, Angelique GerberDeànré Reiners, Zonika de Vries Riaan Visman, Sean Cameron Michael, Michelle du Plessis, Anne Hirsch, Bouwer Bosch and Lara Hattingh.

The production team for the two companies included Aimee Dherman, Jan du Plessis, Ricky Human, Diony Kempen, Wayne Kriel, Karen Meiring, Deon Meyer, Lida Meyer, Marita van der Vyver and Anneke Villet.

The technical crew included music by Schalk Joubert, cinematography by William Collinson, film editing by Johan Prinsloo, production design by Nerina du Plessis and Luarnae Roos, art direction by Jaco Conradie and costume design by Azell Bartizal.

The film released in South Africa in August 26, 2016, it was distributed by Times Media Films.
