The Lady's not for Burning
by Christopher Fry. A popular verse play about Joan of Arc. Premiered at an Arts Theatre private club in London in 1949 starring Alec Clunes, who had also commissioned it. Later that year John Gielgud took the play on a provincial tour followed by a successful London run at the Globe Theatre.

1950: Directed by Leonard Schach for the Little Theatre Players at the Little Theatre, November 1950 starring Hazel Casson, Dorothy Felbert, Donald Inskip, Billie Jones, Robert Lang, Job Stewart, Laurie van der Merwe. Decor by Cecil Pym, costumes by Doreen Graves.
1982: PACT, Alexander Theatre, directed by Michael Atkinson who also plays Thomas Mendip, Pauline Bailey, Sandra Duncan, John Hussey, Norman Coombes, Andrew Buckland, Anthony James, Michael Maxwell, Clare Stopford. Decor and costumes by Gloria Lovegrove.
