Taxi Ranks is a play written by Marius de Vos. The play explores the effect on women who have loved ones in the army. A group of desperate women meet in a flat in Pretoria prior to attending the annual Christmas Party.

Performance history in South Africa

1984: Directed by the playwright for the National Arts Festival Fringe, 1984, starring Lynne Maree, Janice Shapiro, Audrey Wainwright and Di Britz.

1985: Staged at the Leonard Rayne Theatre, April 1985, presented by Pieter Toerien. Marius de Vos and John Burch directed and the cast were Bo Petersen, Janice Shapiro, Sandra Ferreira, Audrey Wainwright.
