O, die Muise, of Stemreg vir Vrouwe

O, die Muise, of Stemreg vir Vrouwe ("Oh, the mice, or the vote for women") is an Afrikaans one-act farce by Melt Brink (1842–1925).

Also referred to simply as O, die Muise by some authors.

Published in 1908 by J.H. de Bussy, reprinted 1912, 1915, 1920. Also published as part of the compilation Ons Hou Konsert by [[Robert Mohr by DALRO in 1973.

1908: O, die Muise, of Stemreg vir Vrouwe first performed by Aurora in Cape Town

1967: O, die Muise, of Stemreg vir Vrouwe performed as part of Ons Hou Konsert (Melt Brink/Robert Mohr) by CAPAB in the Hofmeyr Theatre on 13 October. The cast included Nerina Ferreira, who was nominated for the Three Leaf award as the best female lead.

1968: O, die Muise, of Stemreg vir Vrouwe performed as part of Ons Hou Konsert (Melt Brink/Robert Mohr) by CAPAB on tour

1974: A version of O, die Muise, of Stemreg vir Vrouwe was performed at The Space theatre (Cape Town) as a lunch-hour presentation, directed by Charlotte du Toit with Mary Dreyer, Dawid Malan and Johann van der Merwe.

197*: O, die Muise, of Stemreg vir Vrouwe performed as part of Ons Hou Konsert (Melt Brink/Robert Mohr) by PACT in the Breytenbach Theatre, Pretoria

1981: O, die Muise, of Stemreg vir Vrouwe performed as part of Ons Hou Konsert (Melt Brink/Robert Mohr) by SWAPAC in Windhoek.

1999: 'O, die Muise, of Stemreg vir Vrouwe performed as part of an adapted version (by Peter Snyders) of Ons Hou Konsert (Melt Brink/Robert Mohr) by [[CAPAB], as a tribute to Robert Mohr at the KKNK and in the Nico Arena.
