Charlotte du Toit. (19**-) Actress and director.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Directed The Blacks at the Claremont Civic Centre in 1968. (The production only had one full performance before it was stopped at the second performance by the state security police.)


She worked for The Space in the 1970s. Directed An Evening with Marcel Proust, Futz, It’s My Weekend, Too, O, die Muise of Stemreg vir Vrouwe, Rats, and Line/It's Called the Sugar Plum which she directed with Grethe-Maria Fox.

Acted in Heaven of Existence, Lesson in Blood and Roses, 'Tis a Pity She's a Whore and A Touch of 1900s.
