Langarm is a story of love and intrigue set in the story world of Cape Town’s ballroom dance culture in the 1960s. With the threat of the new apartheid laws hanging over their heads. He is white. She is not. They break the law to dance.

2018: Produced and presented by Eric Abraham for the Fugard Theatre at the Fugard Theatre from 20 November 2018 to 3 March 2019. Directed by David Kramer. The creative team included Musical Arrangements by Resident Musical Director of the Fugard Theatre Charl-Johan Lingenfelder. Set Design was by Saul Radomsky, Lighting Design by Gerda Kruger, Sound Design by David Classen, Costume Design was by Widaad Albertus, and Choreography is by Grant Van Ster of Figure Of 8 Dance Collective. The cast: Rushney Ferguson (Angelina), Cameron Botha (Jeff), Kim Louis (Dinah), Elton Landrew (Eddie), Pierre Nelson (Van der Byl), Julio Jantjies (Lulu, Ensemble), Nadine Suliaman (Ensemble, Angelina Cover), Nathan Muller (Ensemble), Byron Klaasen (Ensemble, Dance Captain), Paxton Simons (Ensemble, Dance Captain), Shaneé de Beer (Ensemble), Junaide Abrahams (Ensemble), Alexis Petersen (Onstage Female Swing), Lindokuhle “Odwa” Makanda (Male Swing, Lulu Cover), Dorsaint Katumpa (Barman), Alistair Izobell (Eddie Cover), Maya Spector (Dinah Cover).
