Die Watertoring ("The water tower") is an Afrikaans one-act radio play by Kobus Louw (1945-1983).

The original text

A radio drama about the traumatic effects on a young schoolboy of an accident one night on a windmill.

First broadcast on the Afrikaans service of the SABC in 1969, and later re-recorded and broadcast a few more times.

The text published in the collections Voetlig 2 (eds P.J. du Toit and Temple Hauptfleisch, Haum, 1983) and Drie... Twee.. Een. (ed. P.J. du Toit, Academica, 1989).
