There are two plays in Afrikaans known by this name:

Die Paddas by Aristophanes (1978)

This is the Afrikaans name given to two translations of the Greek satire Βάτραχοι ("The Frogs"), one by T.J. Haarhoff and the other by Merwe Scholtz (the latter published by Perskor in 1978).

Copies of both texts were found in the Stellenbosch Drama Department's theatre archives and are now held in the Performing Arts Research Collection (PARC) at the Africa Open Institute for Music, Research and Innovation, with offices at Pieter Okkers House, 7 Joubert Street, Stellenbosch, South Africa.

For more information on the original as well as the translations, see the entry on The Frogs

Die Paddas by Dolf van Niekerk (1968)

This is an original one act satire in Afrikaans.

Published in two school setwork books, by Academica Publishers: Tema en Tegniek (1980) and Teks en Tegniek ().
