Productions include those at Stadsteater Hamburg (1973), Open Space Theatre [2] (1974), staged off-Broadway in 1977 and winner of an Obie award.

Performance history in South Africa
1976: Performed in the Space Theatre, Cape Town, directed and lit by Dimitri Nicolas-Fanourakis with Yvonne Bryceland, Bill Curry, Val Fletcher and Bill Flynn. The designer was Bee Berman and the stage manager was Joe Gibbon. Brian Astbury describes it as one of the best productions that ran at this theatre, even though it was panned by three critics and closed by the censors five days after opening.
