Biography

She was married to Errol Ross and later Nico Liebenberg and had two daughters.


Training

Graduated from the University of Pretoria Drama Department, 1969.

Career

She started her professional career at PACOFS.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Her first role was as Kietie in Kanna hy kô Hystoe directed by Johan Botha.

Performed in Mooi Maria, directed by ]]Louis van Niekerk]] (PACT); Rebellie van Lafras (as “Petra”), Bobaas van die Boerdoe (as “Magniet”), Plaston: DNS-Kind (as “Saar”), Boeing Boeing (as “Berta”), Die Wonderwerk (as “Annie Sullivan”).

She starred in the Baxter Theatre production of Seer in the Suburbs, the English translation of P.G. du PlessisSiener in die Suburbs together with Dale Cutts, Bo Petersen and Marcel van Heerden at the Academy in 1981. TALJAARD, Trudie, b. 1948. Tukkies drama. 'n Seder val in Waterkloof.

Television series Kombuis Blues.

Awarded the Andre Huguenet Bursary in 1972.
