Ruddigore is a comic opera in two acts by W. S. Gilbert (1836–1911)[1] and the composer Arthur Sullivan (1842–1900)Also known as Ruddigore, or The Witch's Curse,

One of the Savoy Operas by Gilbert and Sullivan, it was originally called Ruddygore). First performed in 1887

1975: Staged by the Cape Town Gilbert and Sullivan Society

1985: Produced by the Cape Town Gilbert and Sullivan Society and performed at the Baxter Theatre, directed by Teddy Davies. Cast: Cynthia Nixon, Elizabeth Wright, Charmaine Ferreira, Marianne McLean, Graham Boxall, Angus McBride, Margaret Hill, Forbes Smith, Peter Kramer, Kim Ribbink, Alan Saffery.

1995: Staged by the Cape Town Gilbert and Sullivan Society
