Teddy Davies (19**-2024). Director.

Biography

His father was the late Berry Davies, whose radio show was highly popular during the 1940s in Cape Town. Teddy matriculated from Sea Point Boys' High, with other stage-struck pupils including Harold King and Antony Sher, who had produced their own shows at school.

Thereafter Davies joined the Camps Bay Operatic and Dramatic Society, and though he leant towards the creative side of theatre such as set and costume design, he was nurtured in directing by Carla Kleinhans.
