She appears to have been a successful performer in Australia and the other colonies in the early 1850s.

She visited Cape Town on her way to England in 1851, and again, on her way to Australia and/or India in 1853. While in the Cape she gave powerful and successful Dramatic and Musical Entertainments in the Commercial Rooms on both visits.
