Not to be confused with the Afrikaans TV series Hartland (lit. "heart land") by Deon Opperman

The copy of a typed performance text, with handwritten notes and titled Hard Land (no author mentioned), is held in the archives of the Drama Department at Stellenbosch University.

In reviews and biographical articles on Kalmer, the text is sometimes wroingly referred to as Hartland.
