Fitz Morley (1927-2007). Bilingual (English and Afrikaans) actor.

Roles in Piekniek te Velde (The Space, 197*), Wooed and Viewed (The Space, 197*), Fritz, Marilyn Bennett, , CAPAB's The Mikado Gilbert & Sullivan’s, (Dir) Murray Dickie & Andy Gibson, Designer: Bruno Santini, Evelyn Dalberg, Aviva Pelham, Marilyn Bennett, Sally Presant, Andrea Haller, Manuel Escorcio, (Christine Reynolds’s chorus)conductor: Michael Tomaschek/ Terence Kern, De Wet van Rooyen, Henry Lankester, John Eagar, Miranda Kark.


He was a founder member of CAPAB drama in 1963, beginning a 22-year career there. Equally at home in English and Afrikaans productions. Appeared in plays such as Becket, The Importance of Being Earnest, Hond se Gedagte, King Lear. Played Sancho Panza in Man of La Mancha with Lawrence Folley as Don Quichote in November 1986.
