LEMMING, F.C. (?) Musician who collaborated with C.E. Boniface on his ballets (such as Sapho) and pantomimes (such as Het Beleg van Troyen) in the early 1800s. He appeared in the Cape for the first time in 1805, and left it in 1817. (Bosman, 1928;) [JH]
