Het Beleg en het Nemen van Troyen ("The siege and the taking of Troy") is a ballet-pantomime in three acts by Mr C.B. (Charles Etienne Boniface, 1787 – 1853) and probably the first original pantomime shown in South Africa.

Also known as Het Beleg van Troyen; Het Beleg en’t Nemen van Troyen; Het Beleg en het Nemen van Troje; or even simply Troje (Bosman, 1928: p. 145).

The original text

The text is unpublished and was presumably written the year of production (1813).
