(1943-) Actress and stage manager. Born 31 October 1943 in ** *** Worked for numerous companies, including the Space Theatre, Leonard Schach, CAPAB, the Baxter Theatre, PACT, etc???*** . Worked as actress and prompt on Schach’s production of Try for White (Basil Warner, 1959) **** At The Space had roles in Fallen Angels, Female Transport, Popcorn (Pieter-Dirk Uys, 1973) and A Tribute to Noel Coward. Later prominent work includes roles in The Dresser (Baxter Theatre, 1980 and the Market Theatre, 1982), The Spider’s Web (Pieter Toerien 1981), , Showboat (PACT, 1985), Lettuce and Lovage (1988) The Beauty Queen of Leenane (Baxter Theatre, Fleur du Cap Theatre Award as best supporting actress 2000), Also had roles in King John, See How They Run (as “Miss Skillon”), Red Peppers (as “Lilly”), Fumed Oak (as “Granny”), Colliers Friday Night (as “Mother”), King Lear (as “Goneril”), Rookery Nook ( as “Mrs Leveret”), Female Transport (as “Winnie”), First Night of Pygmalion (as “Mrs Patrick-Campbell”), Blithe Spirit (as “Madame Arcati”), Pirandello’s Henry IV (as “Matilda”), Night of January 16th (as “Magda Svenson”), Murder Among Friends (as “Gert”), Golda (as “Lou”), Murder at the Vicarage (as “Miss Marple”), Shadow Box (as “Agnes”), The Sound of Music (as “Countess”), Romantic Comedy (as “Blanche”), Rose (as “Smale”), Spider's Web (as “Mildred Peake”)
