Philippus du Plessis Grobler
Philippus du Plessis Grobler (1874–1959) was an academic with an interest in drama.

Biography
He wrote and broadcast a range of articles and reviews on Afrikaans literature over the years for journals like Standpunte, Theoria and Die Huisgenoot. Omonh them there is trenchant though negative review of the first full translation of Hamlet into Afrikaans " Hamlet in Afrikaans", Standpunte Jaargang 2 No. 1 1945: pp. 50-59).
