He co-authored the script for Manie van Rensburg's film, The Fourth Reich, based on his documentary novel For Volk and Fuhrer: Robey Leibbrandt & Operation Weissdorn (Jonathan Ball Publishers, 1982).

Among his many televsion roles are those in Manakwalanders, Plek van die Vleisvreters, Binnelanders.
Film roles include the lead in Jamie Uys's The Gods Must be Crazy.
Awards
He won an award from the ATKV in 2007 as Best Actor for his role as "At Koster" in Binnelanders.
