by Pieter-Dirk Uys. A play about life in a brothel on Long Street, based on the playwright’s observations of a block of flats opposite his apartment. Directed and designed by Pieter-Dirk Uys and staged in the Outer Space (Cape Town) in 197*, with Christine Basson, Vincent Ebrahim, Grethe-Maria Fox, Margot Luyt, Trix Pienaar, Cornelia Stander and Pieter-Dirk Uys. Closed after 11 performances by the censors. Lighting by Brian Astbury and the stage management by Richard Morrison and Blaise Koch. **** Performed numerous times afterwards, including Baxter Theatre 199* (directed by Mark Graham), the Perron Drama Project in Darling (directed by Pieter-Dirk Uys, 2008/9?)
