Nico Liebenberg (1955-2014) was a South African Afrikaans stage, television and film actor.

Biography

Nico was married to actress Trudie Taljaard. In the 1980s he worked as artistic programmer at the Witbank Civic Theatre in Mpumalanga. He passed away in January 2014.

He has appeared on stage in Confetti (1980), Krismis van Map Jacobs (1979), Ons Wag op die Kaptein (1982), Die Vernuftige Vryer (1983), Die Potlooddief en die Engel (1985), Amadeus (in Afrikaans 1991), Ek Onthou vir Mamma (1983), Charley se Tante (1983), Die Ryk Weduwee (1980), Vasvat van ‘n Feeks (1983), Kinkels innie Kabel (PACT 1981), Smallholding (1994), Stille Nag (1989), Yerma (1979), Die Leeu in die Winter {1982), Mattewis en Meraai (1982), Happy Birthday (1980), Die Geldpot (1980), 'n Stryd met Engele (1982), As die Turksvy Blom (1982), Hond se Gedagte (1981), Twaalfde Nag (1981).

He was also known for his roles in the SABC television series Konings, Die Glaskasteel, Meester and Orkney Snork Nie 2.

He had roles in the feature films Kampus: 'n Varsity-Storie (1986), Orkney Snork Nie! 2 (nog 'n movie) (1993) and The Fourth Reich (1990).
