Lawrence Hilton (19**-). Actor.

Training

Studied at the Rhodes University Drama Department until the early 1980s.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

As a student he appeared on stage in Skyvers (1979), Macbeth (1979) and Salad Days. He co-wrote and directed Razamataz.

Roles in i.a. Two Gentlemen of Verona (Maynardville, 1993).

The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (CAPAB 1989), Funny Peculiar, March of the Falsettos.


In later years turned to TV and stand-up comedy, working with Deon Bischoff as a comic duo, “La and Vera”. **
