C. Utting

C. Utting was a South African playwright.

Wrote a historical play Governor van Noot (1866) also know as Things as They Were. This led to a skit by B. Mollan called Governor van Brute, also known as Things as They Could Have Been. In 1867 he wrote Municipal Muddles, also known as Love in the Dark. **
