Ronelle Loots ( - 2023) was a film editor.

Biography
Born in the Free State, she lived in Milnerton for many years, before settling in McGregor in the Western Cape.
She initially started out as journalist, working for Die Transvaler in Johannesburg, but then met the film producer André Scholtz, with whom she shared a house in Melville in the 1970s. She then turned to film editing as a career.
She passed away on 22 December, 2023.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
She edited over 100 local and international films in her career, including:
Paljas (1998), Die Wonderwerker (2012), Johnny is nie dood nie (2016), Toorbos, The Boers at the End of the World, In My Country, Faith Like Potatoes, Rafiki, Keiskamma: A Story of Love and #lovemyselfie.
Her last, unfinished, editing project was a documentary on the Zeitz Art Museum in Cape Town.
