A stage adaptation in eighteen scenes, based on a series of stories by Mikro (1903–1968), depicting the lives of the people of the town Soetwater.

Adapted for the stage by Bosman De Kock as Soetwater: Bruidjie Dit en Bruidjie Dot, The play was performed by PACT in 1964 and the text published in 1967 by the DALRO (the Dramatic, Artistic and Literary Rights Organisation).
