She was one of the founding fund-raisers for The Space Theatre and remained its bastion through its seven year life. Together with Rob Amato she carried on the theatre, now known as The People's Space after its creators left for London.

Her production company, Volute Productions, staged Keith Grenville’s Not About Heroes, at the Baxter Theatre and Upstairs at the Market in 1986. Barney Simon directed David Lan’s Flight for her at the Market Theatre in 1988. Other memorable productions were Gulls, West and Trafford Tanzil.

Together with The Company she presented William Nicholson’s Shadowlands at the Market Theatre in 1991. This proved to be her last venture as she died of cancer in August of that same year.
