Thark was originally presented at the Alwysch Theatre in London in 1927.

Presented by the Brian Brooke Company at the Hofmeyr Theatre in November 1950.
Presented by CAPAB Drama at the Nico Malan Theatre 10-31 March 1990. Directed by Keith Grenville, designed by Birrie le Roux, lighting design by Malcolm Hurrell.
